In January, Rebel announced that this would be her "Year of Health" and she completely revamped her lifestyle by surfing the web and refusing to use the word "diet".
She said that her upcoming 40th birthday, as well as mental health issues due to Hollywood's attitude towards weight, had encouraged her decision to revise her lifestyle.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, she said, "Oddly, this year has always been the year of health. I've named my years now, and that's sort of a resolution, but for the whole year."
She said, "It's not that I want to lose weight and get a certain number. It's more than that.
"It's about mentally dealing with why I ate too much and had a job that paid me a lot of money to grow taller sometimes, which can have a bit to do with your head."
Rebel also recently made it clear to fans that she is just six pounds away from her 165-pound goal and celebrated with a series of pictures that record her journey this year.
For Halloween, she wore a little black dress, a skeleton face mask, and a bouquet of flowers for a Day of the Dead look.
She labeled it: "HAUNTe COUTURe."
That year, the 40-year-old also found love for 29-year-old Jacob Busch, who is worth $ 100 million.
Jacob's family was listed as the 16th richest in America, with assets of $ 13.4 billion.
The two reportedly started dating after being introduced by a friend last year.
